"I'd like to first start out with the poor communication at this Agency. We were switched over when another office closed and had a couple of issues. First issue after damage to one of our vehicles due to hail somehow mistereriosly our rental car coverage disappeared "in the transfer of locations". After 2 plus months of calling and emails to Dan finally he admitted fault and promised to get it rectified, 2 weeks later still was not fixed. After I mentioned i would file a complaint with the insurance commision it was magically rectified. No reimbursement was given for paying for but not having rental coverage. At that point I was going to continue my business with state farm until I called multiple times to discuss our rates with no return phone call. At that point, we decided to go with another insurance company. I called Dan again to cancel but AGAIN nothing but the voicemail. I physically had to go in the office to cancel just to get attitude from Jose at the front desk. I would steer clear of this location and Dan, if you have the opportunity."

"Office hours are posted, but not always accurate. If you need specific services, Dan is sometimes not available. Some hard-sell tactics for life insurance made me wonder about legitimacy of info provided. Comparison to other insurance companies seems to be a common practice in selling policies with Dan; and I’m not sure if this is a good idea."

"Hi Richard, I personally sat down with you over the course of multiple face to face appointments where we created your insurance plans together. Over the years, I have always called at least once a year to review your plans and make sure we're still on the same page. We do work as a team here at our office. As always, I am available fairly regularly and quickly by appointment for any major concerns, but I will not typically be the one picking up the phone when you call. We have a highly skilled and knowledgeable service team that is always available during normal business hours. You can also email or text our office at any time. It's disappointing to hear that you feel this way, and I would love to talk about it more so we can address your concerns, and make sure you are confident in your account with us. Thanks, Dan "

"After Increased Premiums Every Year By My Insurance Company, My Friend Referred Me To Dan Shaykevich State Farm Insurance Agency. I Have To Tell You What Great Service I Got From Agent Jose, Not Only Did I Get The Exact Same Policy I Had With My Prior Insurance, I Saved Hundreds Of Dollars Too. I Am So Grateful For Agent Jose, He Was Very Helpful, Patient And Knowledgeable, He Took The Time To Explain Every Ammendment Of My New Policy. If Your Current Insurance Company Keeps Raising Your Premium, I Highly Recommend You Call Dan Shaykevich State Farm Agency, You Won't Be Disappointed. Ask For 'Jose' From State Farm."

"My family was distraught during and after an incredibly severe thunderstorm that left severe hail damage to my roof and siding. Dan stepped up and was there to walk me through the process the entire way. My kids and wife feel safe and protected with our new exterior home and with Dan by our side. Thanks Dan!"

"I needed an agent that could provide business use coverage on a vehicle that I may be purchasing on a weekend. My current company could not provide that service so i was referred to another State Farm agent who was not in town and his staff would not return calls. In desperation I reached out to Dan as he is local. Dan answered the phone and needed to reach out to his underwriting department for answers. Within 20 minutes he called me back and he was able to accomplish everything on that call. I switched both current policies to him and if I need the additional vehicle covered it is all quoted and gap coverage in place. He was very professional and the rates were slightly better than my current policy PLUS they can write the new policy if needed. To the other reviews about office hours - he was very upfront that he allows WFH from his staff and while he loves to meet people in person to call ahead for appointments. Very common in the post COVID era. As long as people answer the phone, I'm perfectly OK with that."

"I had to get another new Visa Debit card and it's been hard to make sure all the companies I do business with receive the new card number. When it came to State Farm, I went right to Daniel Shaykevich and he gave me a link to the page on its Web site where I could enter the new information. I told Dan "It's so great to talk to person LIVE" to get something accomplished! Thumbs up, Dan, and thanks! Robert I got a notice from State Farm that my car insurance and homeowners policies with State Farm were about to be cancelled for nonpayment of premiums. It turns out that my payments were collected via my bank's debit card. What happened was that a parking meter swallowed up my debit card and it took a while for the bank to give me a new one, albeit with a different account number. Once I called Dan's office, his staff assured me my new debit card number would be recorded! What a relief! Thanks to Dan and his team!"

"Worst insurance agent I've ever had. Unfortunately my previous agent retired and was just automatically moved to Dan. Extremely hard to get ahold of and of absolutely no help when you need it. Filed a complaint against him with State Farm and then I received a call from him trying to rectify the situation. Got several different excuses for why I wasn't taken care of originally ranging from being on vacation to having Covid. Definitely not trustworthy."

"We have been with State Farm for more then thirty years and started out of the John May office that was in Cudahy. If I had a question or concern Jackie was always there to always help! Probably about 10 years ago the Cudahy office had closed so we switched over to Dan Shaykevich out of St. Francis. Recently, My wife gets into an auto accident (not her fault) and Dan Shaykevich / Juan were useless in helping her with it. They said to call the other insurance company as we have nothing to do with it! I highly recommend to stay away from that office as all they are interested in doing is collecting a paycheck. I told Dan today that we were canceling our insurance with him. He was rude and sarcastic and then asked why. I told him because I found rates much much cheaper elsewhere and the way they treated my wife was just awful. Customer service goes a long way."

"Hi Terry, We apologize about your experience and certainly feel like there may have been some miscommunication/confusion from both ends. When advising you about the claim, we advised that if you weren't at fault and the other driver had insurance, you could go through the other insurance company and NOT pay a deductible. Most clients like to know all their options when it comes to filing a claim so we give all the options so our clients can make the best decisions possible. We certainly did not tell you to go through the other insurance company, we simply educated you about your options. In terms of your rates, I personally spoke to you on the phone for a half hour when you expressed you weren't happy with your rates. We reviewed your coverages and made sure you had all your discounts. As agents we only have so much control over pricing. A few weeks later when you called to cancel, I said I would take care of it for you, and it was submitted on the same day. It's unfortunate that this scenario has led to a negative review. We strive to do our best in every customer interaction, and we wish you the best with your new insurance provider. Thanks! Dan "
